I bought a 2017 Honda Civic from Mike Neary, and it was a very good experience. Straightforward and professional. He went the extra mile to make the sale happen and to make me one happy customer including picking me up at the bus station when I came to pick up the car and helping with the paperwork to get a interstate transport plate. We had a great experience with Mike Neary! Our nightmare of a lease is coming to an end (leasing is not all its cracked up to be - SO many turn-in fees at the end) and after visiting numerous large Nissan dealerships with unpleasant experiences, we came across a lightly used 2018 Nissan Rogue at Neary's Auto Sales. After shopping around for months, this vehicle at Neary's was priced VERY reasonably and was in excellent condition. We met with Mike who is very easy going and down to earth, a true pleasure to work with. He let us take the car out for a test drive on our own and when we got back to the shop, Mike did not at all make us feel pressured into a sale. We went home, put some thought into it, shopped around some more, and decided Neary's Auto Sales just left a lasting impression and was the way to go. Due to some issues with the turn in on our lease, Mike held onto the vehicle and kept it stored in their garage for us until we were able to pick it up - he was very understanding. Pick up day went smoothly, quick paperwork and no hidden dealer fees. Mike is very straightforward and honest. The monthly payment he quoted is exactly what our monthly payment will remain as. He even filled up the tank for us before we left. We have not one bad thing to say about Neary's! Mike has our highest recommendation and we will definitely be back to see him in the future!
We traveled a couple hours to view a car with Mike Neary that I had found in the wee hours of the morning on the internet. What a pleasant experience this was! This gentleman was so knowledgeable and we learned so much history about the dealership and family we felt we had known him forever. We did drive away with probably one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven. I know his wife had been driving it and I'm glad she gave it up. The car was so well detailed it looked brand new. I have already recommended his dealership to someone else. And yes when I'm looking again I will definitely make the drive.

Mike is very honest and knowledgeable with his cars. He only sells cars that are in good shape with low miles. He helps do all of the financing and will get you even better rates than most banks. Mike will work hard to get you to go home with the car you want that day. He also isn’t pushy if you aren’t sure. Would recommend Mike to anyone!

After driving an hour to see same car, same price in NJ, only to see them add nearly $4000 in "fees", we went to Neary's. We met Mike Jr and it seemed like we had known him for a long time. Not only was he knowledgable about the vehicle, his passion for cars was evident. We were sold as much on him as on the vehicle. Price was more than fair and we could not be happier with our murano. Neary's will be our first stop when buying a car from now on.

Mike Neary is a down to earth and honest guy. He is smart and knowledgeable and he takes the time to educate. He is a certified mechanic, so you know he is unlikely to purchase an unsound vehicle and place it on his lot. This also means he is highly knowledgeable about the product he is selling. He is not pushy at all. He gives you the time and the information to make the best decision for you. I had my 2011 Hyundai Sonata serviced by Neary Auto after I bought the Jeep. Before I brought it to them, I took it to a local Hyundai dealer service department. My quote to fix a rattling steering column by the dealership was over $1K higher than Neary Auto because the dealer wanted to replace the entire steering column. Mike replaced a $2 part that fixed the problem. He charged me about $2.20 for parts + labor. For this repair, a full synthetic oil change, and a headlamp change, the bill was just over $200. Moral of the story; the big dealerships often in the business of making a sale. Mike Neary is the business of making lifelong customers.

Mike was amazing to deal with. The car I wanted wasn't on the lot when I called about it but he got it there in an hour. I had spent hours at another establishment being hard sold so I was hesitant to go to Neary. Its was a great experience from moment one. No pressure. This was an excellent shopping experience. My 2010 rav4 has fresh oil and filter,air and cabin filters,all New pads and rotors...and a full tank of gas. Mike is an honest used car salesman and the owner also. He was going through a personal crisis at the time,but still was courteous and personable. I highly recommend neary auto sales in Scranton Pa...definitely worth the drive!

Since this was my first time purchasing a car, I put a lot of time and research into this, but a friend of mine suggested Neary's. And, I have to say it was a wonderful experience! Mike helped me with every step of the buying process, and he really helped simplify it as much as possible. This is my second vehicle purchased at Neary's from Mike Neary Jr. My first vehicle was a quality Nissan Sentra I purchased during the gasoline crunch. I took a test drive with Mike Neary Sr. and we stopped at a local bakery before continuing the test drive. It was a enjoyable conversation about our local area. Never have I spent so much money, in so short a time and felt great about it! Shopping for a slightly used RAM truck in LI NY was nothing less than stressful. I found that ALL the dealers advertised fair prices but after visiting various dealerships found the vehicles to be scratched, scuffed, dirty. And if that is not bad enough, they all added a $1000. prep fee to the no haggle internet price. After inspecting all of Mike Nearys inventory I found all the vehicles to be meticulously cleaned inside and out. Mike is an honest down to earth guy that almost immediately invokes your trust. We purchased a 2015 RAM that looks brand new at a fair no haggle price, with NO bogus prep or hidden additional fees. The service was excellent, they picked me up from the bus station and accompanied me to the local motor vehicle office to assist with a temporary tag as I am from NY. This dealership has earned a customer for life!

I bought my very first car at Neary Auto and I couldn't be happier! I drove two hours in order to see what appeared to be only white 2013 Honda Crosstour in my price range in all of PA. Upon my arrival everyone was so friendly and accommodating. The windshield of the crosstour had a chip in it and they did everything in their power to replace it right there for me within a matter of a couple hours so that I would be able to leave with it that day! Mr Mike Neary Jr also convinced me to seek out all of my loan options in order to find the lowest interest rate and I left there paying a significantly lower rate that I had originally planned on paying. It was definitely worth the drive. Their selection may not be the largest but what they do have is quality and locally traded! I felt as if I was buying a car from a relative rather than a stuffy intimidating sales person. I couldn't have asked for a better place to find my dream car.

After searching for several weeks for a "newer" pre-owned Honda Pilot, we found one online at Neary's. I called Mike and he explained all of the Pilots options and its condition in very accurate detail. Since he knew we were driving over 2hrs to see it, he wanted to make sure we were not disappointed. He even replaced the tires with brand new ones the day before we were to pick it up at no additional cost! The Pilot was priced very well and it was in like new condition! I knew from the first phone call that working with Mike was going to be different. Mike's honest and personal service went beyond our expectations! I'll will definitely call Mike again when buying my next car!

This is the second car I've purchased from Neary's. I'd never purchased a used car before and was really concerned about finding someone reputable. I was familiar with the family and figured I'd take a chance because they have a real sense of morals and values. I bought a 2008 Prius. I love that car. I had 4 great years with it and when it came time for a new one, I knew exactly who to call. I had not one problem with my Prius. It was exactly as shown on the website. It was exactly as Mike had described. My new car is a 2013 Honda Accord. I got great advice from Mike on the car. Mike gave me a great trade on my Prius, and even though I'm moving out of state, Mike is definitely my car guy. He and his Dad are knowledgeable, fine, upstanding, dependable businessmen. After having a tire fly through the windshield of my old jeep on the PA turnpike I was hesitant about driving and trusting a car dealer. At Neary's Auto Sales I felt very comfortable. Mike Jr. was very sympathetic and compassionate towards my feelings of driving again. He did all he could to make sure I was comfortable even letting my mom test drive my newly purchased Honda Pilot prior to me test driving it.
